At the Rivoli Ballroom

In 2007, I was commissioned by London Pride Magazine to photograph a special dance competition at the Rivoli Ballroom, in Brockley. The event was an opportunity for same-sex couples to compete in ballroom dancing, something they weren’t allowed to do in mainstream competitions.

The Rivoli Ballroom is an amazing venue and one of the last 1950's style ballrooms left in London.
